LG OS-5040A(2ch. 40MHz) The LG Precision OS-5040A oscilloscope is a graph-displaying device it draws a graph of an electrical signal. In most applications, the graph shows how signals change over time: the vertical (Y) axis represents voltage and the horizontal (X) axis represents time. The intensity or brightness of the display is sometimes called the Z axis. The LG Precision OS-5040A oscilloscope's simple graph can tell you many things about a signal, such as: the time and voltage values of a signal, the frequency of an oscillating signal, the moving parts of a circuit represented by the signal, the frequency with which a particular portion of the signal is occurring relative to, other portions, whether or not a malfunctioning component is distorting the signal, how much of a signal is direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC) and how much of the signal is noise and whether the noise is changing with time. The 475 is a 200 MHz (the 475A is a 250 MHz), dual trace, portable instrument designed to operate in a wide range of environmental conditions. The lightweight, compact design combines accurate high-frequency measurement capabilities and ease of transportation. GW Instek GOS-6103 The GOS-6100 Series is a 100MHz, two-channel, dual-sweep, and portable oscilloscope for general purpose use. A microprocessor-based operating system controls most of the functions of the instrument, including cursor readout and digitized panel setting. On-screen alphanumeric readout and cursor function for voltage, time, frequency and phase measurement provide extraordinary operational convenience. The advance Time Base Auto-rang function conveniently acquires waveforms at the push of button (GOS-6103/ 6103C). Ten different user defined instrument settings (GOS-6103/ 6103C) can be saved and recalled without restriction. The vertical deflection system has two input channels. The LaserPrep automated mastering glass preparation system is the latest breakthrough in modular automation for CD and DVD mastering. The environmentally self-contained LaserPrep operates in a normal office or plant environment. This system processes new glass or glass already in the cassette directly from the ODC Nimbus glass recovery system and automatically final cleans, coats, performs quality checks, bakes, and inserts up to 20 pieces of glass into an environmentally sealed storage/transport container ready for mastering. The system utilizes two input and two output cassettes for a full capacity of 40 pieces of glass without operator intervention. This unit is capable of supporting up to two LaserWave III LBRs operating at 10X CD recording speeds or 125 MHz DVD clock rates. Line Volt 230V 230/240 VAC 50/60 Hz The Model 25D drive electronics is a high voltage push-pull power amplifier capable of output voltage swings in the order of 175v P-P, push-pull. The Model 25D provides output rep rates from DC-30MHz and typical rise and fall times of 8ns. Controls and Indicators: Drive Voltage control allows the end-user to set the P-P output of the amplifier to the proper level for the modulator and the wavelength of operation. Limits are 175v max and 138v min. This is typically set by the user while monitoring the detected output of the system with an oscilloscope. Bias Voltage Adjustment control allows the end user to set the static DC bias on the modulator which sets the quiescent optical operating point. For example, when the system is being used as a high-speed shutter, the user might set the throughput intensity of the system to minimum at logic low input level. Then, when the input signal goes to logic high, maximum throughput intensity is obtained. The inverse may be obtained by setting the Bias at maximum transmission with logic low input. Then when the input goes high, minimum transmission is obtained. Bias Voltage Meter is an analog volt meter that indicates the actual differential bias voltage applied to the modulator. This voltage is not referenced to ground but is to the internal electrodes of the modulator. Bias voltage range is approximately, +/- 400vDC. |

Performance Plus Economy 8557A is a 10kHz to 350 MHz spectrum analyzer plug-in for use with the 853A or 180-series display. The high performance and convenient operation of this economical unit is ideally suited for a variety of applications in production, R&D or field service measurements. Simple 3-Knob Operation Preset the 8557A to the color-coded, "basic-operation" settings, and use the coupled controls to make most measurements in three easy steps. Tune to the signal; the LED readout displays its frequency. Zoom-in on the signal by reducing the span width; the resolution bandwidth, video filter, and sweeptime automatically change to an optimum value for a calibrated display. Then, change the reference level to bring the peak of the signal to the top of the screen for the most accurate amplitude measurement. Absolute Amplitude Calibration Signal levels can be read directly from the CRT in dBm (dBmV for Option 002) without the use of external standards or calculations. The signal level represented by the top CRT graticule line is always indicated by the reference level control, and vertical scale factors of 10 dB/div, 1 dB/div or linear can be selected.
