William Sanderson Mid-Century Fish Eat Fish Painting
(1909-1990, Latvia/NY/Colorado) Oil on Board - 24"x11" panel in 29"x16" retro black angled wood frame -Sanderson worked as illustrator incl. The New Yorker & Esquire, had a solo exhibition at the Contemporary American Artists Gallery in 1937. He taught advertising design, co-founded the Denver based "Fifteen Colorado Artists". Known for Cubism, Social Realism, and Hard-Edge Abstraction.
