- Pistols Said to have Belonged to Billy Dixon who lived 1850-1913. He was a buffalo hunter, US Army scout & Indian fighter
- Billy Dixon's daughters sold them to Dale Kline, Colonial Spur & Western Art Dealer in Boonsboro, Maryland. He sold them to Edward Moran of Albuquerque, NM. After he died, his wife, Betty Moran, sold them to Cowboy & Indian Antiques in Albuquerque. It was here that the consignor purchased them. This information was provided to the consignor when they were purchased.
